A lifelong student
In addition to running her own practice Yasmin is an accredited lead facilitator for the Positive Power and Influence Programme, works with 20-first, a gender balance consultancy and with Performance Consultants, where she delivers International Coaching Federation accredited coaching programmes.
A curious and lifelong student of human behaviour, Yasmin has studied neuroscience, polyvagal theory and extensively in systemic organisational constellations. She has also trained with the Conscious Leadership Group (CLG).
With a personal mission to impact the world positively where she can, Yasmin seeks to make her work available to those who do great work in the world but have less resources. To that end, she works on a reduced-fee basis with a number of organisations including Crisis Action, and Al-Taga.

My Story
“I was born in Germany to a German/Lutheran mother and a Sudanese/Muslim father, navigating polarities and differences was my everyday experience.
My diverse background and resultant multi-faceted worldview has made me curious about us humans, what shapes us and how and why we behave the way we do. In particular I am fascinated by our commonalities and differences, and what we need to live and work well. I am passionate about creating the conditions for people to feel safe, allowing them to bring their best self to all areas of their life and impact the world positively.
Professionally my background has put me on a life-long learning path. It began on the change team at Deutsche BA and on to Mercer HR where I was an internal and external change agent. Working non-stop whilst consulting on a government sponsored work life balance initiative (the irony!), close to burnout, I decided to take some time out. That was over 20 years ago, kick-starting my career in organisational and leadership development.
My personal life has been fertile ground for my passion for learning. I believe the downs in life can be great teaching moments. My head-on experience with cancer has shaped me significantly and has positively impacted my life path. It made me re-evaluate life and brought about a lot of change. Now I live in York, and as my daughter flies the nest, I have more opportunities for learning and expanding my horizons. The mountains make my heart sing. I love the outdoors, physical activity and conversations that are deep, meaningful and full of joy.”
